Cultivation of Vegetables & flowers under controlled conditions, are done in soilless media. The Major soilless media like, Perlite, Vermiculite, Zeolite, Pumice Stone etc. are all of volcanic origin.

There are others like coco peat, Rockwool, Rice husk etc. also this mineral media are used for soil amendments.

CONCENTRATED ORGANIC PELLETS

GENERAL USAGE

(A) For Potted Plants:
  • Incorporate about 100g in 1 litre of a mix of growing media.
(B) For Existing Plants:
  • Spread the required quantity around 6” away from the stem.
  • Whisk the manure to about 2” into the soil.
(C) For Flower Beds & Vegetables:
  • Use about 2kg/m².
  • Spread this material and whisk it to about 50mm depth.
(D) For Lawn:
  • Use about 1kg/m².
(E) For Greens & Foliage Plants:
  • Use about 100g per kg of garden soil.

ECA/LECA/CLAY BALLS

Varsha Leca Agrigates are made from selected clay material. These are made in special furnaces. The process of making VARSHA LECA imparts the special properties like light weight, inert, sterile etc.            These aggregates are very stable in their structure & properties.
  • The General properties are:
  • Particle Size- 2 to 8MM Crushed, 2 to 8MM, 8 to 15MM & 15 to 30MM.
  • Bulk Densit- 250 ± 10Kg /M³
  • Colour- Darkish Brown
  • Has good thermal insulation due to entrapped air.
  • Creates aeration in soil and in soilless mixes.
  • Uses:
  • For making soilless mixes with cocopeat, peat & others.
